Description

Ceriated tungsten electrodes are a good choice for DC welding at low current settings, yet they also perform decently for AC processes. These 2% cerium electrodes have an excellent arc start at low amperage, and are a popular choice for jobs working with thin sheet metal or pipe fabricating with carbon steel, nickel, and titanium.

Features

  • Non-radioactive—ideal for AC or DC applications using inverter or transformer-based constant current power sources
  • Good for low-alloyed steels, non-corroding steels, aluminum alloys, magnesium alloys, titanium alloys, nickel alloys, copper alloys
  • Good ignition and re-ignition properties, long service life, excellent arc stability
  • Low erosion rate, best at low amperage range, no spitting, good D/C arc starts and stability
